What they said ^^^^^^^^

Clean the area then drive it and see where it's coming from.

FYI... DO NOT throw out the old PCV valve until you take the elbow off the top.

Should I assume that the new PCV Valve will have a new seal? It looks like it just screws in with two screws. That is different than all the other V8's I have had. They just pop in and out.

The PCV and the retainer are two separate parts.

Great thanks! Should I just replace the PCV too? The car just turned 76k miles.

Can't hurt if you have never replaced it before. They usually run $10-12 I think, can pick one up at the local auto parts store or at Ford. The crankcase retainer is a dealer only part though.

The valve itself? You can pick one up at any auto parts store. It's a wildly used part among several Ford models so it should be in stock. I picked mine up from Napa.

Ford p/n is 2X4Z6A666AA for the PCV valve.

I figured I might as well order the retainer gasket AND the PCV. But, after some Google searching, I could only come up with 2L3Z6A666AA. That says it fits Marauder, but, also C-Vic, Explorer, Town Car etc which leads me to believe that might be for only SOHC engines not DOHC (like it says). The part# you posted says all DOHC. That makes me feel better (plus its $2 cheaper, LOL).
