Okay, I ordered the polished stainless crossover cap for my car. I had replaced my crossover last year after repairing/reinstalling the head. Unfortunately, Ford appears to have changed the design of pipe and cap ever so slightly on their newer pipes (part number 3W3Z-8548-CA), so the polished cap does not fit.

THIS IS NOT A MANUFACTURING DEFECT! JIM PROVIDES A GOOD PRODUCT FOR O.E. MARAUDERS.

Anyway:
Threads look just the same as when I received it. When I started getting resistance on install, I backed it right out and put the old cap back in place. Let's go for
$40, shipped.

and see what happens.

I will accept personal check (with fund clearance), well-concealed cash (at your own risk), or PayPal (sent as a gift).

Just return it and I'll refund the full purchase price as soon as I get it. No need for you to lose money on it. I should have offered you that option when you PM'd me... had alot on my mind.... sorry.

I wasn't going to ask, since I felt it was my problem having not fully researched any potential differences in the new pipe. I'll take a little hit on it, PM coming to ya.
