Well I did it. The temptation of Dark Toreador Red got to be too much to resist. So yesterday I drove up to Marietta and traded in my good and faithful servant of 16 months (a black '03 300A) on an '04 DTR with heated seats and trunk-mounted CD.
It looks right at home in the garage next to the Laser Red 'Stang. My wife keeps looking at it and saying "It sure is pretty." And I agree. I know this color is not for everyone, but IMO it is beautiful.
The color is rich and dark and appears "deep." I hope it's gonna be a lot easier to keep clean than the black one (my other red cars are) cuz I ain't as young as I used to be!
Thanks to Mark Rasmussen at Pugmire of Marietta and my patient and understanding wife: the Lovely Lady Sandra.
:)
From my other post in the "Good Dealer" thread...
Todd - you're on the ball as usual. I made the trade yesterday!
Rob,
Now I'm a little upset with you...I drove past Pugmire 3 times yesterday running some "errands"...and the funny thing is...I almost pulled in a couple of those times to see what tHEY would do for me (price-wise) on the Silver, loaded '04 that I was at the other dealership on Tuesday working on for Marauderman.
Congrats!!! :banana2:
But...you STILL should have let me know... :nono:

Ouch! Todd, you're right. And believe it or not I thought about you but figured you'd be working in the middle of the day/middle of the week. On the way out Sandra said "I bet you can't wait to tell Todd and those guys what you've done." Busted.
PS: they have a silver one, too...

Congrats, Macon... I saw another Macon MM today. Black with SS inserts and a thin red stripe in the moulding. It was on Houston St. For y'all from not around there, it's pronounced like house instead of like the Texas city. Hard to get used to. I stopped and chatted a bit, told him about the site.

Thanks everyone!
Hey FordNut, Was that black MM on the corner of Houston and Rocky Creek at Edward's Automotive? One of those guys used to have a really sharp SC Mustang.

I believe so. Rocky Creek runs back over to the interstate at the Pio Nono exit doesn't it? If so, that's the spot.
