Could this be the best wheel? it is in my opinion. look at the 5 pointed pentacle, and imagine it in the upside down position when you pull up to some ricer street punks...they look over, see the pentacle, and crawl away afraid. Be afraid, be very afraid... ha ha this wheel is awsome. $500 each though, but they could make it in any size. Budnick Wheels.
An order of 10 sets would get the price down alot.

If the Cragar SS was available in the correct size, I'd have a set on my MM. Nothing finer in custom wheels. Absent that, the OEM is the best looking wheel on the MM, bar none.

Not these, these are cold forged polished not chromed cast wheels. :pimp:

Great minds think alike. That is the only wheel still in production that I would consider. I kinda miss the old US Indy Mags too. (For my other rides, MM's GOTS 2 have the gods head center caps.)

The stock wheels are excellent, but I think I might pick up a set of KMC Units.
http://www.kmcwheels.com/kmcweb_images/passcar/unit_07.jpg
What I don't understand...is everytime I see pics posted of "I'm going to get these cool new wheels"...they are almost ALWAYS 5-spoke chromed wheels
How are these going to make your car look better?
BTW...the stockers are the best wheels for this car IMHO.

Our stockers are more custom than custom wheels. They only fit our cars, who else could even try and use them.

actually, I'm widening the wheels, and I do not will not trust 2 weld beads of aluminum in the center to widen my wheel - nothing personal, but if you going for 9 or 9.5 inch wheels on a car that deserves it and your proud of it when people look up close no one wants to see a big ugly bumpy deformed piece of alumninum welded in the middle of your wheel. so for an extra $200 per wheel, there are more options out there for the serious.
Not to confuse you or anything I was voting for thr OEM wheels!! I am keeping them on the car.

Aaahhh, Cragar SS! Best looking wheels ever made! I have thought seriously of putting a set on my MM. The chrome is only available up to 17", but the alloy is available in 18". I will never forget the look of my beloved '76 Monte Carlo with Cragars.

Just ordered that Budnik Pentacle rim... $500 bucks each @ America's tire. Their cost is $480. Budnik quoted me $573.
They will be custom made with the stock offset and a polished finish. Thanks for the find Darebren!
One thing this wheel has versus has the stock wheel is .. Attitude

I have to go with the stockers hands down.
Never been a big fan of aftermarket wheels ... I always try to find something OEM when & if I feel the need for a change.
A pick up truck seems to be the only time I didn't mind going aftermarket.
I had an F250 & there were only 2 wheels I seriously considered ...
The AR Outlaw II & the Baja ... ended up going with the Baja.
Both of these wheels were VERY much like that of OEM wheels that were available on the F-Series.
Ended up going with the Baja.
Coincidence I went with one of those ?.
Sho nuff'.
Guess I'm just more conservative when it comes to that sort of thing.
Hmmm Cragars ...
Now there's a word every time I read or hear it ...
The words Chevy & "b****in Camaro" stay stuck in my head for HOURS.
Gee, THANKS everybody.
;)

An order of 10 sets would get the price down alot. Those rims are real sharp, and look really nice. But for now till I have keep My marauder rims. I know some where down the line between Alignments or wheel balancing some one will screw up my MM rims so I'll have to replace them but till then the one's I have now look great so.

I go with the minority here, I'm not a fan of the stock MM wheel. Personally I prefer the swept-look Empire III Colorado Custom wheels I have. A straight 5 spoke wheel is so boring, every Saturn and Toyota has them!! If those who have ordered Budnik wheels would like to share my experience with aftermarket wheels for the MM, send me a PM with ph #. I certainly hope those who have spent some bucks at least went with 9" or 10" rims, not more 8"!!

Hey Soulriot, do a search for '18x10 265 front', I posted picts there. Warning, the picture you put in your reply is NOT the same rim as what you get with the high amount of backspace that the MM requires, be it Budnik or Col Cust. The soft lip / reverse mount is slightly different with its own unique backage!!

Oops, meant to say unique 'baggage', not backage.

This is my personal favorite, but I have not been able to locate any websites for MODA wheels. The best I can gather is MODA is mane by BBS. I sure would like to see some specs like offset and backspacing. I know you can get them in 18".

darebren, I like those EVIL looking Budniks, plus you could skewer small mammals on the daggers and avoid littering the highway with roadkill! Problem is; Do they have the right offset of @ 50mm for a 18 x 8" rim??
