I miss the Grove..lived about 60 mile north of there for about 15 years..never raced there, but went to watch and pit with my friends drag car el camino. Good ole broadway bob days.

I'm a little disappointed with this, but my 1/8 mile is 8.888@79.55 which I think is pretty good. It just takes too long to go from 80 to 100. It sure took a lot of money to scrape a half second off my previous best time.

I just sold a guy a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 with 45,000 miles tonight. I looked up the official 1/4 mile time and it is "only" 13.3. I changed my mind. I feel GREAT about running a 13.9 with my 142,000 mile boat with a half tank of gas and a full size spare in the trunk! :banana2:

PS And I sat there on my lazy butt with the A/C running the whole time before my runs. It was definitely heat soaked. No excuses, but there it is.........
