How many peeps have performed this swap?

What does it take to pull it off, it looks like a good move versus just adding a blower to a stock 4v short block.

I see complete Terminator engines going for less than blower kits.

The alternator will have to be relocated since it would hit the frame. Or notch the frame. Or use the Marauder front cover and Eaton swap brackets.

Sent from The White House on taxpayers dimes.

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

I would say the Ford Romeo engine plant.

We are in the middle of doing this swap right now. Haven't had time to post any updates but here is the short list of issues we hit on the top of my head. We are using an 04 cobra block.

- marauder oil pan does not fit cobra pickup tube. Either mod the pan or swap the tube.
- cobra oil pan does not fit marauder frame, the k-member is in the way
- the marauder front cover fits the cobra block with the exception of one bolt which you can plug with silicone (it does not expose the inside)
- there were a couple of bolt size changes between the two blocks, one in particular is the transmission oil line hanger that is right behind the passenger motor mount.
- if you want to use a roots style blower it is better to keep the Cobra front cover to keep the pulleys and idlers. But you need to notch the frame to allow the alternator to fit. Or relocate the alternator as others have posted on here.
- we hit an issue with the top passenger side bell housing bolt, the hole in the Cobra block did not seem as deep as the marauder hole and our original bolt did not fit. Threads are the same but the bolt needed to be shorter.

This is more like what they are going for minus the tranny unless you may have seen a '96-'01 for that cheap.

I could have picked up a 12K mile '03 complete engine for $5200
