Installed the Metco hub and upper pulley then changed the oil in the blower. Tried spinning the pulley with my hands and it seemed tight. Not that familiar with this and couldn't find anything online...Anyone know if this is normal tension?

Should the pulley be easier to spin by hand?

I made a short video:

I think you walked your adapter on too far bro. It should NOT turn hard at all.

Should be easy, like me.

Take your pulley off and take a look at the quick change hub. Seems like its probably pushed on too far like Justbob said.

Sent from The White House on taxpayers dimes.

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

I've spun the Eaton on The Blackbird by hand and IIRC it spins pretty easily.

WAY too tight!!! You should be able to spin it hard enough by hand that it will keep spinning for a half a sec after you let it go.

Do you have the adapter flush with the end of the snout?

Definitely can't wait especially now we're in the beginning of fall! Obviously taking my time though, want this stuff to sink in as I make changes. Great way to get to know the car!

How does this look?

At first, I had the snout flush with the end of the adapter, but on the Metco quick change hub, I noticed there's a very small bevel on the end. The snout is now flush with the inside of that bevel which gave me the results in the second video ^^^
