Hi folks.

Any recommendations on HID for the fog lights?
I know they are H1s but the kit I got doesnt fit
quiet right. Any recommendations?

for all hid kits you going to have to modify the housing to hold the bulb and seal it, pm fastblackmerc, he's the lighting guru for these cars

i personally used diodedynamics for my hids in both of my cars, no problems with 3+ years in my wifes sonata

order H10... slightly trim the mounting tabs on base of bulb, fits right in then! Use rubber butyl strip (same as to seal windshield in) to seal the bulb in, not epoxy as it destroys housing to chip apart if bulb goes out.

My 2 cents...

Use H10 bulbs. You will need to trim the height (thickness) and the width of all three tabs. Seal the bulbs into the hosing using a good quality silicone sealer. Make sure the wire coming out of the top of the bulb is towards the bottom of the foglight (6 o'clock position)

I've done over 50 foglight to HID conversions. My conversion is plug and play as long as I get the foglights and wiring harnesses.

Please explain the 'the wire coming out of the top of the bulb is towards the bottom of the Foglight'

I'm confused by the comment. Bulb only goes in one way and the filament distance is in same place regardless of bulb orientation... Unless I don't understand something...

The thin metal rod outside of the bulb.

The thin metal rod outside of the bulb.

I believe I was able to put mine in and had the rod/wire at 12 o'clock position. Had to remove them and spin them around to 6'oclock.
