I've never removed body parts from a car, and I tend to break things...Anyway, I found leaves and debris behind the area pictured. You can see the debris with the door open, down in the gap between the front clip and the bottom plastic rail that runs front to back.

It appears to be held in with x-mas tree clips. Has anyone removed this to clean it out? I don't want this to sit as it's moist, and I am sure it'll start to corrode.

If I successfully remove the plastic rail thing, I'll probably shoot it with plasti-dip as it's beginning to turn grey in spots, and has road tar and road stripe paint on it.

Thanks for any advice -

I get my 16HP craftsman shop vac and the crevice tool and get all the crap out of there everytime I vacuum the car.

Pressurized water from a garden hose will wash 'em out too!!;)

They come out the bottom somehow......I do this about once every 6 months since I don't have a 16HP vacuum!!!:shake:
