Welcome aboard. Glad to have you here and congrats on either being a new Marauder driver, or just finding us.

We know there are LOTS of questions that you have...and best thing about this place is...there are EVEN MORE answers. Best place to start is by using the "Search Box" up at the top. Put in "godhead" or "badges" and you'll get a BUNCH of info.

After cruising around the archives awhile...if you still can't find the answer...feel free to ask-up, and someone will have the answer.

Once again, welcome!

Tod is correct, lots of info to be found.

Most of us made them ourselves. One member makes them for others for a fee.
If you decide to make your own, just PM one of us who has already done it and perhaps a phone call explaination can be arranged.

Welcome!

Welcome aboard. Several members of this board bought them. You can check with MartyO. He purchased them and I believe he has the phone#.

If you are willing to take a crack at making the emblems yourself, the god's head wheel center caps show up on ebay quite often. The wheel caps can fit in the center of an emblem. Buy a set of those and some trunk and/or grille emblems and Dremel away. Personally, I'm wanting to make a fixture so I can be precise with my cutting and probably get the conversion done sooner. I've got four I need to make ASAP!

I dont have the link handy, but if you look at my photos its shows most of the steps. I also have tried my best to answer many of the pm's i've recieved about this as well. I haven't seen any posts from him in a while but Ron was the one who was selling them. Once I get some time, I'll try to make a how-to post.

Member RON460 (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/member.php?u=323) does custom work for those not willing to make them. PM him and see if if he still does. Very good work I assure you.

Thank you for info. on badges - one of first mod's to happen on "my wife's" car. (She said she like's the badge that's on the car, but it's history in the making). Why does Mercury not use the real Mercury badge in the first place, instead of those silly 3 lines? The first car i almost got was a '49-'51 dark blue Merc. sedan with a Caddy engine, owned by a premier local machine shop foreman named Merle, who my dad knew. It was just before my 16th b'day, 1966, and my dad took me and 2 buddies to look at it. Of course i drooled over it - not 20% as much as i would now, but dad didn't by it for me - i got an MGA roadster. But, the godhead Merc emblems are a reminder of the America we were, not to mention they are cool. Please keep us newbies posted on these. Have grinder, will grind. Joe
