code 0190 ?? installed 3' fuel filter

ive see a couple other threads about this topic but what was the most common solution??

i installed the focus svt pump and 3' motorcraft fuel filter....i installed the pump and drove for like 3 days no problem then got around to do the 3 filter while was sitting around at work...

ever since the filter it throw p0190 fuel pressure sensor sensor a circuit and sometimes fuel pump out of range code abnd car is barely running realll sluggishhhh like bout to stall on me literally???

i cleared it a couple times and it comes back on wont stay off
i reset battery for while
cleaned the MAF, IAC

heard about calling my tuner and getting them to higher the pressure sensor volume....thing is my tuner is dennis reinhart

im gonna just replace the sensor i think to start

I've had it come up 3-4 times, first time was going WOT after the 3" filter was installed and the other times it was when the car was first started. Each time I was able to just clear the code and go on my way with no problems.

Did you remove the factory bends or just use the 3" fuel filter for the F-150?

i just did the filter no line upgrade was playing on doing so..but didn't get to it was going to do a little more research and get the parts together for it hose ...

on way to adavced auto to get the sensor guess howw much NOWWW 117.00 cheast i seen was rockauto i think 83.00

if it dosent fix it im taking it right backk :help:

dont have a pressure guage to hook to the valve whitch would tell me what i need..

just replaced with svt pump, 3' f-150 filter and this happen :alone:

Try putting the old filter back, clear the code and see if it runs better.

Its the fuel rail sensor--got replacement from rockauto.com for $83 --easy to replace and fixes the problem--

ok so just replaced the FPRS and nope still throwing the code cleared a few mins and nope still the codee and veryyy sluggish

now im going ot just switch back to the smaller filter and see if thats it

it didnt happen into i put the 3' filter in

i tryed to return back to stock still the same...reinstalled the 355 premium tune from dennis reinhart and still no gooo....

all the older threads and and tips ive tryed and still no goo...

could it be the fuel module thats in trunk under the cut off switch

i hear the pump comes on when turn key overrr

so far ive::

installed new FPRS no goo
unhooked battery for 15 min nothin
cleaned the MAF, IAC, Throdle body nothinn
retuned back to stock..then reinstalled reinhard tune
checked fuel fuse/ relay..i hear pump coming on
pushed in the shradder valve n squirts FARR so getting pressure

pretty much stock CAI,tune, little exhaust work...other than that pretty much stock

only think i uprgaded was fuel pump with svt focus and wetn smootly drove for 3 days all good and fine felt nicee...then installed 3' f-150 filter and within 1 min driving threw the code...

im going to be putting back on the smaller filter tom and see what happen

if that dont work im going to have to pull back out the filter and see if something came loose..but like said i hear the fuel pump come on and getting pretty of fuel to the rails...

just dont have a pressure sensor guage to hook up

I've had the bigger 3" filter installed for years and have never gotten any codes.

i installed the svt pump...bec my fuel pump was dying...it was only doing about 20psi at idle and about 32 when WOT..

so i replaced the pump and was greattt for 3 days into i did the filter mod and AS SOON as filter went in 2 min down road it popped up..

insatlled new fuel rail sensor and still riding reallyyyy horrible

ive cleared codes couple time and p0190...a fuel pump out of range code and 2 lean codesgussing each side of motor was lean and car was almostt stallinggg...

i will pull car over clear codes and seems fine for another few mins and pops right back upp

also i talked to a guy a mo's shop and he said that the adjuisted the sensor capacity isnt gonna be the problem beacuase the 2 pumps are sooo similair i wouldnt make the car run THATTTT bad to where its damn near stalling

i switched back to the smaller filter today while was sitting round at work and stilll nothinggg....also there is NO leaks anywhere

only thing left to do it pull the pump back out the tank and make sure everything is connected right and not a pinched line or somethin...

it has to be something Inj the tank going on

I've had the larger filter as well an no issues.
Sure you got the sock on the pump properly and it's not pinched off. Adequate juice to the pump?

You don't have an Xcal to data log with?

I've seen plenty of bad pumps right out of the box in various brands.

yes i do just bob stated that the only thing left is to go back into the tank and makse sure nothing came loose or a line isnt pinched off

THAT IS WHAT IS HASS TO BE tryed everything elseee.

so tom at work hop it's slow so can get here back up on the lift ...

wish me luck guys gonna pull the whole assembly back out

im gonna data log on my sct tom and go back into the tank of at work so im sure ill figure it out tom after doing so ...

update on what have done so far:::::

installed svt pump

installed f-150 mtorcraft filter

unhooked battery for a while

cleared the code 10 times keesp coming back

cleaned IAC , MAF, throttle body

checked/ swapped fuel fuse/ fuel relay

installed new FPRS still no go...so took that back and got my 117.00 bucks back advanced auto parts...

pushed in shradder valve with new pump in and it shot accrossed the shop..so getting fuel to rails...

retuned tune back to stock////re dowloaded custom 355 premium fuel dennis reinhart tuine

made sure has plenty of gas little over quarter tankk

IT IS RUNNING SOOOO BAD...MANY TIMES AFTER A RED LIGHT GETTING BACK UP TO SPPED THOUGHT WAS GOING TO STALL ON ME AND PUTTERING BADDD..IF DONT CLEAR THE P0190 CODE I WILL GET 2 LEAN CODES SHORTLY AFTER...:shake:
