Is this like the SCT's where it needs the same door code or else it won't work correctly?

I don't think so... it works on all Ford 4.6's of the era... Mustangs, CV, GM, Marauders, etc. As long as it's not VIN locked (which it is not since I reinstalled the stock program on my wrecked car which unlocked the Superchips) it will work.

It looks like Bill is in on this. I'll leave this thread up though so if anyone else wants to be #2, they can claim it in case Bill changes his mind.

Thanks.

The tune you get has to match the ECM code.

Is this the "door code" that I keep hearing about?

what year do you have? if '03, is it 300A or 300B?

I ask because I don't have the door code from mine... I just know the tuner worked fine on my '03 300A.

IIRC....

2003 Marauders had 2 or 3 different codes.

2004 Marauders had 1 code.

That I have seen, the 03's have BMD0 and JHM1.

I had one of those Superchips 1725. Don't recall having to figure out what my door code was back then so not sure if it was required on those old Superchips because it supposedly was for multiple cars on one tuner. Anyway, I was too afraid to change my own settings so used the basic tune. Didn't notice any difference over stock so I put the stock tune back in. Then I called Lidio and wished I just went that route in the first place.

This tuner is still available. Bill dropped out and whoever was second already bought one...
Anyone else? Last chance before I put it on eBay.

Thanks,
Neil
