I personally haven't tried this exact driver... But the brand (peerless) is good...

Try... www.madisound.com > Catalog > Peerless...

Then at the end of page 1... look at part number 850518... or picture on page 11... Autosound 6.5" woofer... The x-mas is 5mm... I think this is the largest on the site. (X-mas is the measure of "stroke". The number reflects the length of travel. The longer the length.. the more air that can be pushed :) .)

At 90dB it is also fairly efficient for a woofer.


It is a 6.5" diameter, but I am not sure that the overall depth will fit...???...


I do know the guys at Madisound are good.

(It is Spring Break over hear... and I hoping to try some driver upgrades over this week. This is the driver that I was starting to consider. I have not got to make all the measurements yet.)
