For the MM, I am looking for a steel wheel for the M/T slicks. My guess is a 15" wheel with 9" width and 6" setback. Anyone using something similar? What & where did you find your wheels?
Thanks.

How much grinding is needed for a 15" wheel to fit over the brakes?

A small amount needed to grind on the caliper, I ran jeep steel 15" wheels and DR's. I only did it because I had the stuff, I would recommend 16" or larger and not do 15's, can be a pain.

I used to run 16s, was mainly wondering about 15s because M/T came about with a couple pretty sweet tires recently I wanted to try, but looks like 15 is as big as they come.

WE ran some 15" wheels that were for a ranger. They had a low offset and stuck out from the fender a little. No grinding.

15in Weld Prostar racing rims fit over our stock brakes with no grinding.

When I take Daily Driver to the track I use a 16in CV steel police rim with M/T ET street 28x11.5-16LT mounted.Works great.

None, put the slicks on with 15" wheels and drove them around the block with no problem...all on a closed course, of course.
