For those that may not know..Dragway 42, West Salem, OH is closing at the end of this season. The owners are retiring and the place is for sale. It's a 1/4 mile track that I am sure needs some upgrades plus insrance is probably very high for any motorsport track.

Norwalk may buy it, they did once before. Then sold it just to keep it open. See what happens... :)

Well, cross that off the list for a Cleveland MV! :mad: You guys don't do meets in Cleveland anyway, you just go to out of state ones! :P Even with it closing, we would still have TRP and Norwalk in 'Cleveland'.


In all seriousness, D42 treated us awesome when we had Panthers On The Prowl '09 there. Since then, it doesn't look like they've done ANY maintenance to the facility.

Shame. I always liked it better than Thompson, and would justify going the extra hour just to go there.

You must have missed the post I put up, we are putting together ideas for MV12. :)
