Engine knocking after spark plug blow out

I was driving to work this morning and the car started to knock and miss. # 6 plug blew out. The problem is why the knocking? I don't want to go to the time and expense of the timesert kit if the engine is bad.

the plug is rattling around loose in the cam cover most likely.

Mine knocked a little too. It went away the first time, second time the plug blew out, it didn't go away.
