No, you'll have to modify the headlight housing if you are switching to a different style bulb from the 9007.

I've never compared the bulbs you mentioned to the 9007, so you may be able to modify the bulb base instead of the housing.
Why do you want to change bulbs?

That may or may not be true.

Bulb bases arent even anywhere close... H4 H7 is a much more common bulb in europe as well, hence I could see your reason for wanting this instead of a 9007.
Putting a different bulb in there will likely cause less effective lighting even if it has a higher wattage. It is all in the reflector and if the filiment is not in the focal point of the reflector the performance will be worse. You may blind the oncoming driver on the low beam even with the same wattage because the light is no longer focused where it is supposed to be.
You can buy higher wattage 9007 bulbs.

thank you all. the reason for my debut was, what Limited360 wrote. It is not easy to get the bulbs in Germany. And if one bulb is defective, the order for a new pair is approx. 3 till 5 days. My Marauder drive with Philips Night Vision (or similar), very good light. but the Focus of my wife is much better (with H7). BUt doesnīt matter, she have good illumination, i have power :-)

btw: long time ago, i upgraded the Marauder with 2 additional Relays for more wattage. Found the DIY here in the Forum. Highly recommended for all!
With something as cheap as a headlight, with the need to ship it too you I'd just keep one or a pair on the shelf so you have one when you need it.

Could always do an e-code projector retrofit... I know the German car inspection police are a pain! I spent a month in Berlin for work (calibration project for Mercedes Benz), buddy showed me the car scene. Way way way different then states side, to many rules!!

Yes, a MUST in this case

Oh yeah, isn't funny. But the advantage by drive an US car, the cops have no inkling from those cars. So you have almost free ticket (in German FREIFAHRTSCHEIN, no plan, what you say in english)
