Would a complete ProCharger Kit for a F150 (4.6l OR 5.4l, according to the owners manual) have any value towards a Marauder?

Sorry, it sounds like I am asking frustrating questions. But, I am looking at these things popping up for sale and just want to make sure whether there is any value or not.
I am trying to get BOOST for goodness sakes!!! :P

Whew!!! ;) I was applying logic that the ProCharger is a blower that would just bolt to the motor. Other than brackets (that you need for an Eaton Swap anyway) it would seem to me that the kit might work....:dunno:

All depends on how good you are at fab work or have access to someone who can. Eh, Motown

Not that much! But, if there are custom bracket needed for the Eaton Swap, I was thinking that it still might be a comparable option (other than the different type of performance that the Eaton offers). I was just trying to think of a lower cost option to get boosted.

I think for a dd street ride an eaton swap would be your best bet, all the hp, and tq is down low just where you want it, and if you ever want to upgrade your only a whipple away from some violent hp!

Yeah. I hear ya. But, if I could get a centri for alot less money, than that is how I would roll. However, I would prefer an Eaton. I am more of a low end, off the line guy.:burnout: But, I also have a budget to deal with....

With a stall or controled waste gate with smaller pulley you could see almost the same low end grunt as an eaton...correct me if I'm wrong....

You just made up your own mine
"However, I would prefer an Eaton. I am more of a low end, off the line guy".
Start saving your pennies for an eaton and collect the parts when you can, no hurry. You won't really be happy with anything else.

How much low end torque are people wanting? First gear is useless in my car with the centri blower. This is what happens when I jam the pedal, watch the brake lights go off before the hit.
The tires are 295s btw.

That said, I think you'd want the brackets for a late 90s cobra or a Mach 1 for it to work right with the Marauder front cover. I think that's what I use, I can't remember anymore, getting old

Dude, that is awesome! It looks like you could've kept smoking them for a lot longer! I had to watch and not listen (no speakers at work:shake:). You can definitely watch more smoke develop as the centri winds up!:burnout:
I could live with that...;) :P

If that ProCharger kit is complete, it *may* be a good start, but remember there's a bit less space in a Marauder engine bay that in an F150, so the piping may not work, but if you can get it for the right price it may be an option.
