Curious who has raced their Marauders while making payments to the bank. My first Marauder went to the track at the drop of a hat and I had never finished paying for it. The ones I have titles to now have never been taken to the track by me yet. Yes I'm getting antsy.

Raced my Marauder while my dad raced my '05 Magnum R/T (back when I had it). Both were financed. The Marauder won. :D

Hell, I had to do motor surgery on my Marauder while still paying on it...

Bot mine new, got a loan & started mods, never went back to the dealer. Ran the MM on the road race course and on the dragstrip every chance I got. Had it on the track at Marauderville I. On the road course I blew up the engine. trailered it to my son's shop & replaced the engine over a weekend.
Never looked back. Its all good.

My salesman and I took a loaded GM to a dealer 60 miles away. We traded it for my Marauder --- even money. It had 47 miles on it. On the way home, we had to pass Texas Motor Speedway. We arrived there just as the crowd from the Indy car race were going home. I- 35W was a parking lot. We ended up in the lane next to a new Lightening. We rolled our windows down and the guys in the Lightning were very interested in the first Marauder they had seen. Then something happened that I still can't believe ---- the driver got out of his truck and talked to all the drivers in the other 3 lanes---- came back and said his buddies were going to block all traffic til about a1/4 mile break was open and then he wanted to race me. I looked at the salesman and he was all smiles. I had never raced so the truck driver said turn the AC and TC off, go full throttle and hang on till he started braking. Well, we did just that and he was ahead of me by a truck length when we braked. I didn't even look at the speedometer--- I was just hanging on. From that moment on I knew I had my dream car. Now, with over 145,000 miles of smiles and a few track adventures, I still feel the thrill when I hit full throttle. I hope this doesn't get cut because I was actually street racing in its safest form. Anyhow, yes, I raced BEFORE the loan papers were signed. All I can say is to drive safely, but , with GUSTO. :-). My was 4 month old first time down the track. 14.98 @98 mph. 50 deg. night when I lived in TX. I made over 300 runs while making the payments. Now I have just over 625 runs.

The line lock I purchased from you back in 2009 was my down fall. Just over 350 runs since April 2009 with my new line lock installed. Lots of fun making tire smoke and now I own drag radials to help my ET.
