Check the grounds.
Check all the connections.
Try new bulbs.
Is the headlight lense cloudy.

BTW.... the stock bulbs are halogen

It's in the owner's manual.

Page 44 to be precise.

If you don't have your owners manual handy, you can download it directly from the Ford website:

2003 Mercury Marauder Owner's Manuals (http://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage&year=2003&make=Mercury&model=Marauder)

I hope this helps! :)

If your wanting to "upgrade" I suggest HID'S, you need to pull the light assemblies to change the bulbs anyway why not, I can walk you through it or email you detailed instructions to do it, I've upgraded both the headlights and fogs, also did led bulbs/strips in the cabin and trunk, just don't try to replace the upper console bulbs because the whole upper console has to be removed so make sure you know how to remove it, I can tell you how and I know there's threads on the site here and a lot of folks here can tell you, keep something in mind, whatever route you go the headlight assemblies need to be taken out, 3 bolts per assembly, 1 on top and 2 on the bottom, 8mm socket, good luck with it, post up how you make out

My drivers side headlight keeps getting condensation inside even after I dried it out and resealed it twice.

Should I drill holes in the plastic assembly or get a new headlight?
Ford quoted me a price of $225, but I don't want to pay that much.
Looked online for a OEM replacement but couldn't find one with the same part # as the one from Ford.

Any help would be great

Sorry to hijack the thread

What I would do is look at the MM parts for sale on the forums here and find someone that's selling parts off their Rauder that may be wrecked and get one that way, any extra holes drilled I would expect more condensation, Ebay sells after market assemblies but I'd definitely suggest OEM, let us know how you make out

My desktop is down and I can't figure out how to copy/paste a link with my iPad, but if you put the item number I posted above into the eBay search it should bring it right up.
