As I consider buying one of these fine cars I want to think about the sound system.

I have an Alpine CDA-7998 head unit (and the outboard XM Radio tuner) and MB Quart component speakers. I also have a sub box with a 10" JL Audio sub in it. I use Alpine V12 amps.

Can I:

1) Tie the Alpine head unit in with the steering wheel controls?
2) Get some Q-Logic Q-Form kick panel enclosures for this car?
3) Tie my head unit in with the factory CD-Changer?
3) Consider other options for integrating my gear with the factory gear?

I have put this system in several other cars and the sound quality is just amazing!

Your thoughts?

Thanks!

The web site is very cool! That would do the trick for me for steering wheel controls. I'll check with them about the other questions I asked as well. Thanks!

no problemo, just make sure you tell them EXACTLY what you want to do. i went around a couple times with my wife's Oldsmobile with OnStar but we got it straightened out. GM's with OnStar are a pain.

You do realize the stock head is an Alpine, Right?

Wrong. We beat this subject to death about a year ago. Search for the thread for details.
