Just one distillery? You usually fit two in one day.

I need a couple of those bottles of Pappy's you picked up, I am sure you can spare a few since you got 65 cases.

Just one distillery. We haven't been to this one in particular for quite a few years. -You know the one Gordon. :D

Can't spare any bottles as I am down to 31 cases.

I always stop at KHP when in the area. (when last year) I own a Hunter/Jumper and ride all the time. Great place and also great area to take pictures. Try the horse burger. The road apple pies are to die for. Serious the park is nice. Lots of things to do for children and adults.

Hi Mike,

another suggestion for an event would be the Waverly Hills Sanitarium ghost tour.
http://therealwaverlyhills.com/newsite/

Just trying to keep things interesting. We have our Brewery Tour this weekend capped off with a visit to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, WV. If it's a hit, I'll campaign for a visit to Waverly Hills in April. I know I had a great time at the Buffalo Trace Distillery ghost tour.

What is your idea of a "car event". All car events include 3 main interests in my humble opinion.

Burnouts & Test Rides

BSing, Bench Racing, Smack Talking, Fighting, Shenanigans, etc

AND DRINKING HEAVILY. (you may choose to participate for spectate) :)

Back in the day, the first Louisville meet was assembled to tour distilleries. Considering the few that are around, I chose to do the distillery theme every other year.

So far, so good.

This early in the year, not many tracks are open, and if they are, it's a good distance away. That, and taking into consideration these cars are over 10 years old, not many people will beat on them like years ago.

Louisville is about family. The cars bring the family together. From there, we do our thing.

Has anybody looked into getting window or magnetic flags made up for our caravans to and from events??? I had one made up for my Mark V a while back, even had one on the antenna for our wedding...thought it was pretty cool...

Window flags were made for one of the Marauderville's. They are black with white script. I'm sure someone will post a picture

I'm excited about this Louisville, pretty sure Patricia and I can come. But I've been thinking about a decal and theme for a commemorative. Like the one's I did in '09 and '10.

The rush is in the shop now being assembled. I think the membership will like it. The proposed decal will have, I hope, something for everybody and will be dedicated to a certain person (longtime member and supporter of the Louisville scene).

The decal will feature superchargers, nitrous, SCT, Hotel, Marauder vehicle, Mercury god's head, clip art backgrounds and appropriate labeling.

When the proof is ready I will post up, probably in late March and the membership can down load the image for free, take to a sign shop and make it a sticky decal of almost any size. I told the artist to make sure it had lots of pixels.

I know I'm spilling the beans early, but like I said, I'm fired up.

I few of us did that a few years ago. I can always set it up as an afterhours activity.

So, I really want to do the 4hour ghost tour that goes from Midnight to 4am. The only time they do those is Friday nights. Would anyone be up for that by chance? It's $50 a person and I think it was be a good time. They also do the 2 hour tours for $22 a person and they do those Saturdays. I got a couple of WV friends that want to go so, that would add 2 folks to the numbers for the group.

They book 50 people for the overnight and the large group is then broken down into groups of 10.

There will be many threads about Louisville popping up in the near future.

So, I am closing this one to keep things somewhat manageable.

Yeah, right.
