hey buds-

my rear cats and rear o2 sensors were stolen off my car on 10/21/13 at the Metra station here in Chicago. so I instantly took the car to a muffler shop for repairs to get them replaced. this morning when I got in the car to take off I noticed a whining noise coming from the engine. also my check engine light was on and the o/d light flashes on and off during the duration of the car running. they pulled some codes with their computer.......the codes are as followed:

P1747: ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE 2 PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID A SHORT CIRCUIT

P0443: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM PURGE CONTROL VALVE SYSTEM

P0750: SHIFT SOLENOID A

P0755: SHIFT SOLENOID B

P0743: TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID CIRCUIT ELECTRICAL

A member on here who goes by the name
guspech750 tried pulling codes and did not see any of these issues on his tuner. can someone please help me get my baby back up so I can began my upgrades.

I would check the wire harness that goes to the trans.

I would double check no other wires were cut during the cat theft...

Check the wiring harness that's between the drivers side cam cover and firewall / cowl.

Have you had any trans work done lately? If not the harness, then I'd be looking into the plastic harness clip just above the trans filter making sure it's fully seated.

So this doesn't turn into yet another dead end thread... I advised him to simply check the under hood fuse (40 amp?) for the related problem and Ammco did just that, swapped it and got him back on the road.
