Got a ticket for squealing the tires today. Actually I did a nice power slide around a corner and down the street a bit. I have no idea where he was sitting. He knew I lived midway down my street. (The infraction wasn't near my house). Said he's seen me do it before...... Then why no tickets?

Anyway, I guess the cops know my Marauder. :o

I try to mix it up a bit. :burnout:

It wasn't near my house. I was leaving Best Buy after getting a 32" garage TV.

I live not far from HQ. Plus you can hear my car coming from blocks away.

He could have gotten me for reckless driving, a noise violation, 25% tinted windows and no front plate as well. I'm pegged.

Yeah Joe - BOOST may not be a wise investment for me.

Maybe around 1979 I was heading down the Saw Mill Parkway from my girl friends to my home. It is a very old parkway 50mph limit, dark and pretty much empty of traffic at that time in those years. It was a long trip that I frequently made late at night. I still remember the enjoyment I got from driving it. What could be better, being with a beautiful woman then an open road, a big car and a big block.

It was raining lightly so I was cruising slow, a little under 60 in my red 68 Charger. Kinda near my exit, lights pop up in the rear view, so I pull over and walk back to his car.

He rolls down the window and starts reaming me out about speeding, I still remember "Slow Down!, Slow the F... Down." I started to say I really didn't think I was going that fast, he cuts me off and says " I had you ding 80 more than once! Slow the F.. Down! you hear me?" I said something like 'Ahh yes, Ahh thank you....' He proceeds to take off with me standing there in the dark.

That sucks! Were they "squealing" or just spinning violently?

I like it better when they spin without a squeal.:burnout: Draws too much attention when the squeal! However, I haven't really done a real one in the Marauder, yet. I don't think most people appreciate a good burnout these days. Anyway, around here, most streets are paved with asphalt mixed with sea shells (instead of rock). They are like little razor blades sticking up. Instead of smoke, there just would be big chunks of rubber. Now, in the driveway, that might be a different story.:burnout:
