My car was down on power recently and while going through the usual suspects I found my problem on the passenger side of the exhaust.

The drivers side was on the verge of unraveling like the passenger side.

I picked these up in 2011 and have a little over 5K miles on them. I ran them at the track a few times and around the neighborhood on a NA engine. I'm pretty sure I'm out of the warranty period and not really looking to replace them with the same product so I ordered American racing high flow cats and will have them installed this week.

That is no fun.. I have never had good luck with aftermarket catalysts tho.
Hence I never run them, lucky here in Michigan that we can do that.

For the cost of that system it should stop at least a 9mm round.

That's BS, if I'm correct you are not the 1st and I paid good money for mine too.

When mine go I'll just put the straight pipes back in that I originally bought and installed. Exhaust stinks but it sounds so freakin good.

WOW!!!
That sucks Paul!
I've never seen a Catalytic Convertor 'unwrap' like a cheap cigar!
Have you forwarded the pictures to SW?

Paul, you are obviously forcing too much HP through those poor Cats!.....:bows:
Do you have emissions testing in your area?
:hmmm:.....you could just, accidentally of course, unroll them there cheap cigars.....errrr.....I mean catalytic convertors
and end up with a nice pair of 'resonator chambers'....heh heh heh.....:D
Sell the platinum guts for a tank of high test and let 'er rip!!!

I have a SW complete exhaust on my '04 Silver Birch (3 years). It does come with a life-time warranty.

Blackened300a, just sent you a PM to help with those converters.
FYI our converters carry a 2 year warranty. See SW Warranty (http://www.stainlessworks.net/support/warranty.html)
Sorry, not sure of any aftermarket companies out there selling with a lifetime warranty on converters. We are always here to work with you guys as we know sometimes things can happen. Give us a call if you have any questions.

I have the entire system. One bad clamp and they sent me a new one free. Takes a little fiddling to get the pipes to fuit just right. Tips could be a little better quality. (ie rolled) No issues at all with the headers. Sounds fantastic. Power upgrade with dyno tune was substantial.

The experience is always part of the SW appeal, we support the Marauder and Crown Vic customers like no other. Considering we make a header that not only fits, but makes excellent power and can be combined with a tuned muffler and true dual exhaust.
Don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions!

I had a 3.0 upper and 4lb lower at 17lbs pulled 493 when the blower turned loose. I was setting mine up like DOOM with Porting and pulleys. He pulled 505 I believe at his best. Once I messed up that blower I switched to the Whipple.

Im hoping for 520-525 That's what Racerx says I should get because he polished the blower!

The trillogy looks awsome after bill polished it and the jokerz ported it just like posi used to with the single blade accufab and the cams degrees on the new motor we should get there. I can't afford the 2.8 whipple and Eaton swap
