My installation of the MSD 6011 6 MOD rev limiter/2step. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-6011/overview/ You also need to get the adapter harness so you can keep your stock EFI control. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-88814/overview/ I found the 88814 alot cheaper on ebay the 6011 was pretty much the same price everywhere I looked.
First pic is of the main harness of the 6011 which goes to the cam, crank, MAP sensors and the coils. Whole bunch of wires for me to hide.:( Second pic is the 8 tach adapters to plug the stock coil harness and the adapters for the cam and crank sensors. More stuff to figure out how to hide.
First you need to swap the wires in the coil connectors. They are set up for SOHC motors which have the polarity swapped. What you need to do is get a pick and pull the yellow clip out then pry the retainer back to release the wires, swap the wires and push the yellow clip back in.
Last pic shows the wire colors swapped. The plug on the right is in the proper orientation vs. the left as the plugs come in the kit.
