It has a drain plug so you don't take a bath...

That is the only advantage.
Consider a deeper aftermarket pan, more fluid with a drain plug.

You could add a plug yourself for about $3, its basically a hollow bolt and nut with another bolt that screws into the hollow bolt to serve as the drain plug. Just a drill is required, no tapping.

I agree!

That's what I did. Until I realized what chance of leaking that was. $3.00 + a little Oxyacetylene and part of a rod. :D

Mine came with plastic washers to seal the hollow bolt and nut, no leaks there, however the rubber washer on the plug bolt was garbage so i went to home depot and got a rubber washer that has a steel washer attached to it, works perfect.

Mine did too. It was a kit specifically for just this. I just don't trust plastic washers on both sides and a nut holding it all together. Jmho!

What year E350 vans pans fit our trans. ? So I know what to look for in the junkyard.

Y'all are talking about the so-called "U-Haul" pan. You likely won't find one in a junkyard as it was only fitted to E350s sold to U-Haul.
The Ford part number is F8UZ-7A194-AA
you can get the pan from Tascaparts.com for $53 plus shipping
