Has anyone else had any problems with the rear de-icer interfering with certain radio staions when on?? This is a recent thing and only seems to happen to the higher end channels starting around 100.5.

I bet the headunit is on it's way out.

Could also be the isolator module going bad.

There is a chance of interference since the antenna is in the back window.

Never noticed, and they call it the rear defroster.

All the time. Aftermarket Pioneer NAV unit, everything goes fuzzy when the defroster is engaged.

Yes.

I'll have to check the wiring diagram.

The isolator is located under the package tray...or whatever that "shelf" by the rear window is called.

It's also possible one or more of the defroster gridlines is damaged, which can cause radio interference. TSB 09-19-2 covers it.
