HUNDREDS of them, all over the country. Stumbled across this while just hunting around for parts. Not mine.

I would be careful here, unless you have experience with them. There are a few Marauders close to me, in GA, but I can't see where you can go and pick them up if you wanted to. They have an "order shipping now" button which sounds a bit suspicious.

Trying to find more info about them to see if they are legit. Proceed with caution here.

Thats a site that culls info from all the salavage auctions over the past years. Some of those cars have been on there for 2 to 4 years or more, and have been sold and dismantled/crushed.

Still, it is a nice reference for someone to update the registry to mark these cars as damaged/destroyed. It would give a true number of how many are left. I used to keep track of them but got (way) behind...

That site is a derivative of www.copart.com. Uses the same info in same format. Good to look at if you need a reason to clean your tear ducts out every so often.

Do you need to be a dealer or have some sort of licence to buy from these places or can anybody buy one?

I have a guy who said for a $300 fee he would bid on any car I want. I only pay the $300 if I win the bid.

Not really. You can register, but then you would actually buy from one of their registered dealers...for a fee. Call them. They were really helpful when I thought I might buy one.

All of those listed on that website have been sold months and even years ago.

I know because two listed on there I logged in my salvage MM list 2 years ago when they went thru salvage auctions. The database is not being updated. It is using all the old copart.com listings.
