Would an SCT3000 work with the Marauder? There is a local guy trying to sell me one for $150. Said he's not sure if it's locked or unlocked. But, it would only be $40-50 to unlock.

Check with SCT, probably closer to $150 - $175 to unlock.

Bring the car along to plug it in and see if its unlocked.
