Is there an aftermarket supplier of over the axle mandrel bent pipes for our cars? It almost looks like I still have the factory piece between the Magnaflow mufflers and the Megs...

Don't believe anyone makes them. Custom made is the route you need to go.
The owner of a famous muffler shop told me all the MMs he'd done where all different.

What is the stock size? I think the over axle pipes on my car are stock size where the rest of the system is 2.5"...

The over axles are 2.25 from factory.
There is a local guy here in Maryland that does the over axle pipe in mandrel bent stainless and may even be able to ship it. Several local owners and myself have had him do all of our exhaust work and I've known Greg for years. Try giving Greg a call @ (410) 360-7106 and see if he can help you out.

Not sure about that. Best bet is to call the number above and get all your answers from the horses mouth so to speak. I know ctrlraven is very happy with his set up. :)

Pipes are not coated but are made of stainless steel which are as good if not better than factory.
I had Greg at Mandrel Bending Solutions do my complete exhaust from factory manifolds back to tips. I supplied the new cats, retained the mufflers and res-delete tips, everything else he made and took about 9-10 hrs to complete.
These pics are several months after having them done, the areas of coloring are from heat which shows there is a lot of even flow.

I know a guy in Southern MD I have been going to for years works at Fast Lane Performance(FLP). He does real good work I'm either going to go back to him or try this guy at MBS. I've heard ctrlraven setup and I liked it alot and seeing it for the first time just now it looks real good too.

If you call that clean I'd hate to see what you call dirty. LOL
I rinse off the underside once or twice a month.

An excellent system on ctrlraven's MM. (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/member.php?u=4253)
The only "problem" I see with it, is removal should the transmission need R&R for servicing. 4 v-groove clamps for somewhere in the H section would be nice.
Stainless steel is very difficult to cut -- especially after installation.

Funny you mention that because last year I had two v-band clamps instead before the mufflers. Front section from exhaust manifolds to behind the mid pipe can be removed in one piece. Another MM owner was working on my car the day I took those pictures and he complained how it was a pain to remove the driveshaft with the exhaust all being one piece.
Mandrel Bending Solutions did my 3" from the headers to the bumper.3"?? Well it's good to know a 3" can be done for the over axle part.

The new stainless steel tail pipes & 4 inch tips were installed for under $300.
I went from the stock 2 & a quarter inch pipes to 2 & half inch stainless steel pipes. What world of a difference. :D

The stock exhaust starts at 2 3/8", and after the second cat, goes to 2 1/8" for the rest, this is OD. I measured them before i cut my cats out so i knew what size exhaust tubing to buy. That exhaust Chris gives me fever!

I was running 2.5" mandrel bent, came on the car when I bought it. After rebuilding the engine and doing some upgrades internally, it wasn't performing the way I thought it should. It was like night and day when I went with the 3" mandrel bent exhaust, race cats, flow through mufflers and 4" tips.

All Stainless Works to the bumper here with 4" tips. I may change the X to an H.

What is the ball park number for getting a full exhaust done from manifolds to tips. Not including mufflers and cats? Custom 2.5 to 3 inch mandrel stainless.

Depends on where you go, I paid a little over $700 for my setup I believe not including cats (bought two new magnaflow cats) and reused my mufflers and tips. Mine is 2.5" from front to back.

Mine was about $1,500.00 - Mustang shorty headers, down pipes, X pipes, all other pipes mandrel bent stainless steel all were custom made. Stock tips and polished stainless steel Magnaflows. I purchased the headers and mufflers.

"Custom 2.5 to 3 inch mandrel stainless" -- not many mandrel benders around, let alone garages doing stainless with them. Looks like they start at ~$40K<.

just got off the phone with Greg, he said if cats, mufflers, and tips are supplied it would be around 700, and take a full day..... that's a smoking deal compared to an out of the box kit
and thats from stock manifolds all the way back in SS
