First, you don't have air shocks, you have air springs.
Second, what light are you referring to?

To see if its the fuse: pull the fuse and see if its blown. If not, its likely your compressor crapped out. You also need to check your bags and make sure theyre not leaking, which might be why the compressor stopped working to begin with. Best way to do it is to manually pump up the bags with a air compressor. Search google for the procedure.

1 - Check the switch in the trunk. It may be turned off especially if you have had work done recently.
2 - Check the height sensor on the Watts link first. They are known to freeze up or the arms might pop off.
3 - Check all the connections.
4 - Check all the fuses and circuit breakers
Fuse panel:
#16 - 15A (Hot in Run)
Battery Junction Box:
# 114 - 30A (Hot at all times)
# 303 - Relay (switch it with # 304 to test)
5 - Check if there is power at the air compressor connector - with the key on there should be power to the pink wire and the gray/red wire. You should check the ground connections at the two black wires.
Let us know what you find.

You say the light comes on when you first start the car, but then goes out...that's what it's supposed to do.
You can check for power to the compressor by pulling the relay in the BJB and jumping pins 30 and 87. If the compressor does not run, pull the plug at the compressor at check for voltage on pin 4.
The fuse is F1.114 (30A) in the BJB.

I was assuming it just needed adjustment.

I was assuming it just needed adjustment.
Or just reconnected it.
