During my drive though the mountains I put the high beams on, but along with the low beams. I think we all know moving the turning signal lever in just the right space can get both high beams and low beams on at the same time for a fantastic vision.
If I keep doing this will it burn something out?
Thanks.

Doing this a lot will just shorten the life of the bulb because of the extra generated heat.

If done for an extended time, it could also cause issues with the housing, as it's plastic...

I recommend HID's for fantastic vision.

You will also shorten the life of the relay inside the LCM.
I recommend HID's for fantastic vision.
HIDs are the way to go....

That is called flash to pass. Its meant for short bursts of light in order to tell the slow ass in front of you to move the F over.

I've done it in other cars without an issue. Usually only in short stints.
I did go hids on black. Love them in the rain. But I sure do miss my bright lights on those two lane roads without street lights. :(

I miss the spotlight effect of the standard lights on bright. Hid's just don't give me that.

I thought the idea of the HIDs were to be brighter than the stock lights----normal and bright----so you saying you prefer the stock lights --lows or brighter or both--not sure--seems odd knowing HIDs are gonna be brighter--a lot??--Confused--or Am I misunderstanding--Thanks for any correction=--
The only concern would be overheating the housing. The high beams are on a totally separate circuit with their own fuse and wiring. They do not go through the LCM only the dimmer switch.

I love the hid's for normal everyday driving. Especially in the rain.
Going down a country road with know street lights I prefer the stock bright lights. I've heard great things about projectors but have no experience with them.

Apparently Jerry and I are twins, since him and I are the only ones that ever had a problem with your products.
Jerry, my projectors work great, high and low.

So what was your issue and was it resolved?

So what was your issue and was it resolved?
"Had" a problem is different than "have" a problem, "had" being past tense, means it was probably resolved.
What was your question?
