JLT's website lists the marauder filter p/n as SBAF49, pretty sure its generic for S&B Air Filter 4x9". This generic part number doesnt work on the S&B filter site. Wondering if anybody knew the actual S&B p/n or the correct amount of oil to re-oil the filter with?!?
BTW i lost the little paper that came with the Cleaning Kit...thanks!!!

Just measured mine, 5.25 x 6.5 with 4" opening. I'd call Jay at JLT to verify dimensions.
I oil it and let sit overnight so the excess oil drains off. I also have a spare so I can swap it out at any time.

I think I want to change mine over to paper. Who makes paper coned shape air filters?

I also purchased two but cant find the sheet for the oil specs. Mine measured 5.25" top diameter, 6.5" bottom diameter, 4" opening with a 9" filter element.

There is no oil "specs", just a light spray of oil and let it drain off the filter overnight.

First..... can't read what you posted.....
Second..... you said in your first post that you lost the instructions on how and what amount of oil to use.... then you post what I assume are instructions. ...
There are somethings posted on the web specify a certain amount of oil but I yet to see how you can meter an exact amount of oil from a spray bottle.

Those are just general instructions on how to clean the filter with the kit, no specific oil amounts. There was a seperate sheet with oil amounts depending on type of filter (size, w/ or w/o powerstack, etc).
The cleaning kit comes with a spray bottle filled with cleaning solution(seperates the oil from the filter), red oil to re-oil the filter and and measuring bottle so you can add the correct amount.
I just dont want to damage any sensors if i put too much on and dont want more dirt getting in the engine if i put too little on........

Just spray a reasonable amount of oil on it. This is overkill. Like instructions on how to put a key in a lock.

Like I said earlier, when you re-oil the filter, let it sit overnight so the excess drains off and you'll not have any problems. If you do run into a problem the only thing you might have to do is clean the MAF. The engine ingesting a small amount of oil won't hurt anything.... the emissions system (PCV) probably lets more oil into the engine than the small amount from over oiling the filter.
When mine is clean and dry I just spray just enough oil on it to turn the filter medium red. Then let it sit over night on some paper towels open end down.

Just make sure spread it exactly even on the filter, and dont dare put 50 grams of oil on it:P
