I need to change my u-joint and my street is not level. Is it ok if I raise one side of the car, unbolt two bolts, lower the car, inch it forward, raise it again and unbolt the other two?

I really do not want to raise both wheels off of the ground.

just remember there is nothing locking the rear end when you take the drive shaft out. (except your ebrake if they work) don't kill yourself!!!:eek:

don't forget to turn off the air ride :up:

Not smart -find a level parking lot or something and when you lift the car make sure you block the wheels that are staying on the ground. Also have some jack stands under it so it doesnt fall on you. Be careful!

Yes, find a level spot. Block the front wheels. Use jack stands. you should be able to remove the driveshaft by jacking up one side.

That sounds like the worst, hardest, and unsafe possible way to remove your driveshaft.
