As writing this we were just getting home from buying the Marauder one year ago...

Other than the few gremlins that is plaguing this car right now it has been an awesome car. I'm not as far along with the mods as I would have been but, there is time...:D...:burnout:
I love the car more today than the first day I had it. Nothing like a big rear drive car with some power to make you feel like a king on the road. Loved these cars from the git go. Like I told Mike today, Like other I would have bought this car new if not for the inflated priced and the dealerships unwillingness to negotiate down. NO regrets having to wait 9 years. Just makes it that much sweeter...Real shame this platform had to go away. I think it could have been revamped and made kickass. The car speaks for it self. Looks, comfort, ride, the attention it gets...very befitting and deserving...I'm going to hate to continue to use it as a DD, It had 61,200 miles when I got it and now has 81,200. But really don't want to drive any other car...besides, if it breaks it can be fixed...I love this car... Should have bit the bullet and bought it new...:)

Yes, even though the bumpers are in short supply, they won't keep this beast from rolling down the highway...

Looks like you and I got our cars about the same time last year. You however put a lot more miles on yours in a year than I did! Keep enjoying it!

Happy Belated Anniversary!!
I've had mine for just about 3 months now, and I couldn't agree more about my Marauder. I LOVE IT! I've been dreaming of this car before I ever knew it! What is there not to love? Well, let me tell you the one thing I don't love right now. Salt and Snow! I didn't drive it today, but it does have snow on it! Unfortunately, I don't have a garage, live in an apartment, and have a parking permit, which means that they already told me I can't keep a cover over it. So let me ask, with you guys that use your MMs as DDs. What do you do?
Sorry, didn't mean to rant.

Bet all the original owners are laughing at all of us newbies.
18 mos for me and the addiction is ridiculous.

Once the snow is done and the streets are somewhat dry take it to a manual car wash and presoak the hell out of it below the belt line and wheel wells and rims or the whole car like I do. Most around here lock off the brush so I use one that has the soap wash option. Then I rinse and wipe clean. Kinda gets cold but better cold than damage from salt...

That's OK, they've just learned how to let it out in a control fashion...I say let it fly...

As for the addiction. I think a substance addiction would be better, at least they have places to go to help you get clean. Where would we go...Smart Cars Anonomous meetings????
