Is this a good location for the Air/Fuel sensor for when I install the gauge or leave it plugged and for tuning access only?

Yes and no. Location is preferred pre cat, but I have had several different exhausts and locations thru out the years, never a difference in readings.

The other area of concern is the downward angle. It should point slightly upward for moisture reasons. I normally just remove the pipe for better access.
