For those of you have had your Eaton polished, what would someone expect to spend on the process. Just curious...

Mine came polished...but I checked around ranges from 500-700...
Check out Stiegemeier.com does.porting and polishing...great work ported mine fast turn around..

I'm polishing mine right now. I know why they charge what they do. More nooks and crannies than a pack of English Muffins!

Hehe. On the frame... Yea talk about nervous putting acid on a new bike frame... Turned out nice but will never do it again..

Harbor Freight sell a 2 HP grinder/polisher. Buy the polishing felt wheels from Eastwood... and get polishing.
I did the 331 stroker in my '93 Mustang, including the aluminum heads.
The finished product is in the photo section under my name.

They look fantastic till you scratch em. Best for a weekend car. Not a daily.

Scratch it :confused: I don't see how that would happen real easy once its installed.

If its a super shiny job then it will show small scratches easy. Its aluminum. If you want it to ALWAYS look super bad ass and never have to touch up you'll want to clear it. Similar to how are Marauder wheels are finished.
