How do I remove the front grill? I really just need to get the emblem off. So maybe the grill doesn't have to come off. I am taking the car in for paint and I am not sure I even want to remove the grill. But, certainly I want the emblem removed so it doesn't get taped up.

Grille is held by 6 11mm nuts along the top and 3 push-clips at the bottom. Use a 3/8" extension to push on the clips from behind so you don't have to pry on the grille from the front and risk snapping any of the vertical bars. Once you do it for the first time you'll see how easy it is.

Do you have to take out the headlights first?
Also, I was going to remove the headlights, but, it always seems like they drag pretty hard along the bumper when removing or installing. I don't want to re-install them over the freshly painted front bumper and end up scratching them.

No. Just remove the clipped in plastic cover over radiator. You will then have lots of room to access the back of the grill to remove the nuts.

Thanks! Sounds easy enough. Does the grill badge come off or should I just tape around it?

The badge comes off. It is held on by a 10 mm plastics bolt, accessible once you remove the radiator cover.

BE CAREFUL reinstalling, it is very easy to dimple the top of the grill when you install it.
Ask me how I know….
Basically finger tight.
