I was told by Mercury officials in 2003 that the 2004 Marauder would have its own serial sequence (separate from GM) in 2004. Did they do it?

I thought mercury was a sub of ford. GM is chevy right:confused:

On this board, GM generally means Grand Marquis.

L/M changed the frame number from M75 to M79 in the prefix of the VIN, but no changes with the sequencial sufix. It's still mixed with the panther line.
