Pat, I like it in the Silver Gray combo as shown. Didn't MarauderTJA have a very similar scheme on his car? It was featured in "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" a couple years ago (January 2010)IIRC. Here's the thread >>>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58243

I know we're getting into mixed metaphors here, but something along the lines of a 'Cuda stripe or the AAR livery could work well on these cars.

That, or search out some old Ford/Mercury race cars, and see if you can borrow anything from that.

My MOPAR-sense (and it is strong) says stay away from AAR graphics on any FoMoCo product. Just sayin'.......

1969 Mercury Cyclone had specific graphics. Not sure most would understand the link on the Marauder. The only other one I can think of is the Cougar eliminator graphics.

A while ago there was a post floating around of a black with 2 matte black stripes right down the middle - hood, roof, trunk.
Maybe you could do that to a silver?

IMHO I was not fond of Tja's checkers a first. I was thinking I'd have to have a little paint work done. But it looks WAY better in person than in pics so its staying :beer:

Also a silver birch just looks plain boring to me. It needs something anything. A couple bullet hole decals to break up the bland look.
