whats your guys drag wheel tire combos?

Lookin into buying some rims and tires for track use but still be streetable so i can get to and from the strip (no trailer) i have really heavy rims right now and was just lookin for some pointers. Like tire sizes and rims. Any info would be helpful thats guys

I have some spares from panthers I'm going to be running as skinnies once I get the tires changed and put a tiny spacer in or possibly grind the calipers down. It just barely touches the calipers. They're nice because they're Ford parts, aluminum and small so light, look almost like Weld rims, and don't cost an arm and leg

i`m using the Mickey Thomson pro5 rims but there pricey.....with my Roush discount at Jegs i think i still payed about $1,600 just for rims only.....but will a 15 inch rim fit on a MM ??

STOCK?????? People have "stock" Marauders? I think a 16" is as small as you can go, but the "stock" rear calipers are small, they may fit. :confused:

15" rims do not fit over the brake calipers..they "may" fit on the rear axle, but not front. 16" rims will fit front and rear..Ive had 2003+ model year 16" CVPI rims on mine before when I was getting my rims re-finished..they fit fine.

16x4.5 Lincoln town car aluminum mini spares up front, and some 15x8 steelies for the back from summit. It's not my drag setup, it's my "all the time" setup.

15 in. Weld Racing Prostar rims will fit on stock rear brakes.That is what I use on Purple. Also 15 in. Race Star Industries series 92 Drag star rims will fit over stock front brakes.
