Ironic, Don'tcha Think

Alright, here's my story. I've had my MM for a lil over 3 months. During that time I've seen 8 MMs (Not including mine). Today, was the most messed up!

1) I see a Blk 04 everyday going to work, since I've owned mine.

2) Met up with a few members here. 3 Blk 03 or 04's, and 1 DTR.

3) Saw a Blk 04 outside of a car dealership when it was closed, so I stopped. Met the original owner, and BS'd a lil bit.

4) Just a couple of days ago, a Blk 03 or 04, passed me, coming from the other way.

5) Last but not least, this is what I saw today. SB 04

This is what I saw when I pulled into my parking lot, after work. WTF! Did I inspire some other tenant to get one? If I did, why the hell did they get the same color! Only 997 made, and there's 2 in my parking lot! How Ironic! My center caps better not get stolen! Well, these were all the emotions I was going through.
Later on I met the owner. Older gentleman that was just visiting a friend. Says he bought the car new in 04, and has no regrets. As I watched him pull away, a sudden feeling came over me. I was relieved. I was back to having the coolest car in my parking lot!

Well, I say the coolest car, but if you look at the pictures closely, there's a 06 GTO here too. Some might think it's cooler, but I wouldn't think anyone at this site would think so.:D

I was just kidding, but yeah, it's in Elmhurst, by a retirement home. Actually I think there's a couple of them over here.

Lol nooo my Grandmother spent her last months in that Retirement home and I've delivered to that building when I was doing deliveries. You ever go down Addision rd north of North Ave? I saw a nice sounding SB cruise past on it one day when I was over there working on a truck. Not often I see SB MMs around. And also I'm stalking :D

I work in Addison, off of Addison and Factory. It's possible you saw me, but I have a stock exhaust, though my foot could've been a lil heavy on the throttle.

My MM is next to the Taurus. The Taurus is mine, and if you look in the pictures, you can kinda see that the MM is on the end of a row. The car next to it is on a different angle. I freak out when I can't park there, due to not trusting other people! With the Taurus on the one side I don't have to worry about someone hitting it. Well, except for me. I try to be very careful.

It's a very good possibility it was me. I work till 3:30, so I'm definitely around the area at that time. We'll probably meet each other someday. I figure when the weather gets better. I seen a Bad A** CV in the industrial park by, Fullerton and Addison. Blue, tinted windows, 18'MM wheels, OEM spoiler, & MM tips. You know the car?

Not off the top of my head. Seems like there are a handful of actually not bad looking panthers in the area that aren't on any of the panther sites. There are some around though

I'm in a garden apartment complex too, and I try to strategically park as well. I've "owned" the spot in front of my door which is next to a handicap spot that is never used, and park my Marquis next to my MM. When I use the MM I move the Marquis into the spot...it gets to be a PITA swapping cars, but worth it to protect it. I think my neighbors think I'm nuts :o

Hilarious! I do the car shuffle, and my neighbors DEFINITELY think I'm nuts too! The next day after a snowfall I'm outside cleaning it off. I've unfortunately had to drive in the snow a couple of times, and at some point after I've gotten home, I was out there making sure there was no salt on the rims, tips, and lights. There hasn't been a single day when my MM looked bad. One of the other nice things about where I park, is the fact that there is a flood light on top of the building, that doesn't go out. There are more flood lights around the building, but they're on sensors. What's funny, is that I'm not the only car nut out there doing this. I mentioned about the 06 GTO a few posts ago. This guy is the same way I am, but he's older, so they think he's just out of his mind!

Right before I got the MM all the parking lts were ripped up and repaved, and since I always have a car in the spot the blacktop doesnt see the sun it's still black under the car while the rest of the lot has turned gray :D
