NICE! I was wondering when they'd put a CVT on a supercharger. Now they have.

I read about the Procharger i-1 in a car magazine.
It's about time someone figured out how to make a centrifugal blower make boost down low and hold that boost until redline!
I always wondered why you couldn't pulley a centrifugal blower to make boost lower in the rpm range, then blow off the excess boost as the rpms climbed towards redline....:dunno:

Dont turbos use waste gates for that? In theory it should work for a centrifugal supercharger.
Edit: just read more about turbo systems, im sure a modified blow off valve would work.

Saw it at SEMA two years ago. Problem with the unit is two things.
Cost, insane.
Size, seriously the unit is twice the size as a normal head unit.
