I'm having an issue with my EATC. It won't switch out of the defrost setting. I can hear it trying to switch, but it won't. Floor, vent, or AC are not working. Is there anything I can check under the hood? Also I can't hear the actuator under the console working anymore. Ran the diagnostic and got the error code 024 which is for the BDA, separate issue that I've had since summer. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you have the dreaded EATC module blues. You need to do the o-ring repair or have it done. There are some people that will do it on this site for a fee. If you were close to me I could swap it out with one that I have modified already.

Howdy neighbor (I live in Old Bridge)! If you're looking to replace the O-rings in your EATC from rubber to Viton (recommended), let me know. There's a great thread on this site that shows you how to do it step-by-step. It's pretty easy. After swapping mine out, I have many extra O-rings (had to buy minimum of 25, only needed 4), which I will gladly give to you.

I can repair your EATC for you. Can also fix the lights in the EATC if needed.

Wicked, pm me. I might be able to do this in a few weeks after I get some funds. Taking the gf to AC in a week so no $$$ for repairs till next paycheck.
Gryphonzus and Fast, thanks for the responses. It's something I've only read about. Starting to run into a few issues now, including the tach only working when it feels like it. I'm going to start getting ready to make my own template and make my own gauge cluster with Autometer gauges.

PM sent. Repair really shouldn't take too long and, if you tackle it yourself, it won't cost you a dime.
Here's the link to the repair procedure:

I am in the SoCal area (not far from D'Land), and still have a few silicone O-Rings left in my stash.

What is the size or the part number are the Viton o-rings? I'm happy to buy a bag if I can find them with going on a major hunt. BTW i'm in New Zealand...
