Any good exhaust shop can do it.

I have had trouble locating a package using Google. I was thinking of calling Flowmaster.
I easily Googled sway bar kits, put the rear on, and it is awesome.

Look in the "other parts for sale" section here. There is a NIB obx system fot sale that fits 2 valve marquis

If you need a factory H-pipe, let me know. I've still got the one from the '06 P71 hanging around.

shop. Since I have a single exhaust stock 2005 MGM Ultimate with no duals or headers, the quote came in at 396 to add the other side as a cat back. Seems a bit steep for a little bending, hangers , muffler and pipe.
What do y'all think ?
Dave
PS, I am looking for a nice MM in my area, but will keep the Ultimate, also. Two Mercs are always better than one in my book. This is my 4th MGM. Never met one I didn't like.

$396 is probably ok - but I'll bet that's using the inexpensive alumized steel + crush bent. Will rust fast. Factory is stainless.

If you want better you have to pay more. Stainless works makes a setup for your car. $$$ but very nice.

Go to a junkyard and pull the exhaust from any P71 or cab. Got everything after the cats for probably $65 for a friend's gmq. Don't forget to snag the hangers too. Bolt everything in. Then you can go from there in terms of mufflers or exhaust tips.

as I have not yet lifted the car to look at how the exhaust routes off the manifolds. I suspect it goes into a Y pipe and then to a single cat. So I can't visualize how a dual system for a cab, or police after cat set up would hook up to it after the cat. Seems like I also need to get pipes that bolt to manifolds. Will try to get under it today. Sorry for the ignorance, but the single exhaust MGM is new to me.

Yes, a pipe will come off the other manifold and then under the car it will connect with either an h pipe or x pipe to balance the system out..There will be no y pipe and you'll need another cat. The h pipe and hangers and over the axle pipe off a junkyard dual exhaust car would be ideal and let the exhaust shop finish fabbing it up.

All you need is the H pipe back. The H pipe will bolt to your existing cats. I pulled the duals off a cop car last summer for my grand marquis.

Do not forget the dampers if you can get them from a junk yard!!

If you don't use them the system will rattle like crazy at and just above idle!!

here in Charleston with all I will need including hangars. Will go get the stuff tomorrow.
Thanks to all for educating me.

Just put the Addco sway bar on front to match the Addco rear I put on a couple of weeks ago. Easy job- about an hour on jack stands and with hand tools.
