This morning it was about freezing (UGH!:() and my IAT was running about 44 degrees and half throttle broke the back end loose....YIKES!!:eek::beer::D

I saw the highest MAF count ever a couple of weeks ago. I reviewed the log very closely for afr, fpdc and spark since I've never hit that part of the MAF xfer table before! :eek:

I bought a MAF upgrade from pegging my OEM MAF when it was 42f out.... Luckily I was logging and all looked well still, just barely pegged it in top of 2nd gear. Enough to make me upgrade to support other mods I want to do however. I wonder if it could get traction how nice if would feel at the -10f I saw today ...

When it gets 40* in the fall and the roads are still clean I'll take my fox out and it will break the tires loose in 3rd and 4th gears. Side effect of more power is that the roads are usually cold and less grippy.

It's fun when 1/2 throttle feels like 3/4 throttle with a S/C. Try it when it's -17 outside!

Have had a problem with my MAF sensor, just installed 4th or 5th one since last spring sometime....barley got out of my Napa's drive before "check engine" light came (back) on? By now...I believe my problem could even be having the right part number? The CAI is K&N and the unit is clean front to back. You mention a "upgraded MAF"?...can I replace the whole unite in hopes it's more than the sensor? Oh, yeah...the codes are always the same, 171, 174....could the base idle play a part in my issue? As you know, OE's are gone, re-man's take a week or more to get and most are on east coast, (imagine). I have not had very good luck finding a 4.6 guy either (it seems they are on the east coast too!)? If you can spare the time and have a idea or two, it would be most appreciated! thanks, Blair
