Can any help me with the name of the long black plastic piece under the front of the car. It's what gets hit if you bottom out on a hill.

Maybe the front spoiler? If so it's been added.... Not a factory part.

It's a factory part. It's under the front bumper on the bottom of the car

Lower air dam

Not the air dam. It goes across the under body of the front end. Black plastic. It sticks down under the radiator

That is the front air dam. It sticks down and helps force air up into the radiator for better cooling. Usually its what gets damaged if you hit a dip hard.

Folks will argue with me but it ain't needed so just take it off and throw it away.....I did in 2005 and currently have 251,498 miles with no cooling problems even with the Supercharger and intercooler in front of the radiator!!:beer:

Also, they look crappy when they get beat up and hang down!!:argue:

I actually took mine and reversed it.
