Alright oil guys, school me on the benefits and useage of this stuff. I know marauderjack uses it and with a quarters million miles, supercharged, its got to be something good. Any specific brands to get? How much to add? Benefits you've seen? Thanks!

I use about a half ounce per gallon (guesstimate) at fill up of the Walmart TCW-3 stuff!!
I do this with (2) 4-Stroke boat motors, my 2004 Ram 1500 and the Marauder since new.......none use any oil between changes!!:bows:
I'm also using the Wal-Mart brand, 7 oz per fill-up, which is about the 1/2 oz/ gallon. I just started about six months ago, hoping it prolongs my useful life.

Paul, have you noticed any improvement while using it? Quieter valvetrain noise, increased, or decreased mpg?
Ive read that the general use is 1oz per 5 gallons of gas, why are you guys using so much? I poured about 6oz in 15 gallons of gas a few days ago, as my first time, which was before i read about the 1oz-5 gal rule of thumb. Im not saying you guys are using too much, just want to know why. I bought the 16oz bottle of quicksilver synthetic. Should i stick with synthetic or go with the fossil oil version?

Any is better than none and I just figgered 1/2 oz. per gallon of ashless was right and so far I think it works fine!!??;)
50:1 2-Stroke mixture is about 2.6 oz. per gallon and plug fouling is not a problem so 1 oz. per gallon won't hurt anything but does add cost!!;)
An added bonus is the long chain oil molecules act as a flame front retardant effectively slowing burn rate and helping hold detonation down!!
