Smoking under hood

Today I decided to clean under the hood with carwash spray gun, now it wont stop smoking.
Tempature not rising but it Smoking what could be wrong?Isprayed degreaser and wait 3min then sprayed with water with car off:(:bigcry:

Smoking from where?

Temperature not rising?

Carwash spray gun? As in a do-it-yourself, high pressure car wash?

cars with COPS (coil on plug) don;t particularly like moisture..even though Marauder cops are under the covers with a gasket...it';s not 100%..It's not recommended to use high pressure water to clean these engines..nor is a flood of water....You need to elaborate the smoking..is it just steam from the water evaporating on the exhaust?

If the engine runs ok, no worries about water in the spark plug wells.

You should never use high pressure water in the engine compartment as it will get inside the electrical connectors, alternator / fuse box, etc.

You likely got water in the valley between the heads and it's just going to steam until the puddle is gone.
